Sha-Reese Cunningham was
born in Louisville and currently resides in Maysville, KY. She
is primarily a self-taught artist though she did complete a
year of artistic study at Maysville Community and Technical
College. Since completing her first painting in 2001 she has
been a featured artist in exhibitions locally and in Lexington
and Louisville. She has also received recognition for her
work in online competitions.
"In this world of
political correctness we often tip toe hoping not to offend.
However, without being too heavy-handed, I choose to
acknowledge spirituality as my source and heed the inspiration
of biblical scripture that so generously lends itself to
visual interpretation. I enjoy the relationship between the
creator and creation both as a creator of art and the creation
of the Living God and Master Artist."
